Mission and Philosophy
At East Neck Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, our mission is to provide the highest caliber of health care, rehabilitative and educational support services to our residents and their families.
Our care approach is patient-centered and involves an integrative program that addresses the complete healthcare needs of our patients. We assemble an interdisciplinary team of practitioners from several areas to design customized treatment plans that reflect the physical and psychosocial needs of each individual. A committed, dynamic team of case managers, physicians, dieticians and nutritionists, social workers, recreation therapists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants work together to optimize the healthcare outcomes of each patient. Our progressive medical treatment plans help our residents achieve their fullest potential for health and well-being within a nurturing, stimulating environment.

Welcoming Patients, Visitors and Friends
At East Neck, we perform in-house laboratory testing that often eliminates the need to send patients outside of the facility for necessary medical tests. We routinely screen patients for strep throat, mononucleosis and influenza and perform basic blood sugar, urinary and other laboratory testing as needed. Our practitioners will collect blood samples and send them out to outside laboratories for tests we do not perform in-house. For patients requiring x-ray imaging, East Neck conveniently performs in-house radiologic imaging using our digital x-ray system.
