Our skilled and dedicated rehabilitation team use state of the art equipment in a warm, loving and motivational environment. Newly renovated gyms are equipped with all of the necessary tools for a thorough and comprehensive rehabilitation, including a fully simulated home setting to reintegrate you back to your home.
The members of your healthcare team believe education is a core principle of your recovery. The healthcare team at East Neck strives to restore each individual to an optimum level of function, while stressing independence and adaptability throughout his or her stay. The primary goal of this program is to educate both the patient and family through the recovery and rehabilitation process while you are at East Neck.
We believe it is the right of the patient and family to understand the different facets of your care.
The East Neck team understands that individual patients have individual needs; therefore your care will be conveyed in a manner that is appropriate for each patient’s language, culture, emotional barriers, sensory impairment and religious needs.
Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse’s Aides are scheduled 24 hours a day providing nursing care for all of our residents.
Our experienced nursing staff coordinates the individual care plans for our residents and focus on enabling patients to acquire or relearn skills they need to return home as quickly and independently as possible. At East Neck, we are committed to promoting wellness and optimum quality of life for those under our care.

Welcoming Patients, Visitors and Friends
At East Neck, we perform in-house laboratory testing that often eliminates the need to send patients outside of the facility for necessary medical tests. We routinely screen patients for strep throat, mononucleosis and influenza and perform basic blood sugar, urinary and other laboratory testing as needed. Our practitioners will collect blood samples and send them out to outside laboratories for tests we do not perform in-house. For patients requiring x-ray imaging, East Neck conveniently performs in-house radiologic imaging using our digital x-ray system.
