We realize that patients play an important role in their own recovery process and that patient education is a key component of a successful, long-term recovery. The members of East Neck’s healthcare team strive to empower patients with ownership over their own recoveries and regularly educate both patients and their families about the different facets of patient care, providing both the knowledge and the tools necessary to ensure a sustainable, long-term recovery.
As a diverse and dynamic healthcare facility, the East Neck team understands that each of our patients is an individual with a unique set of medical and personal needs; as a result, patient care is delivered in a manner that is appropriate for each patient’s linguistic, cultural, emotional, sensory impairment and religious needs and preferences.

Welcoming Patients, Visitors and Friends
At East Neck, we perform in-house laboratory testing that often eliminates the need to send patients outside of the facility for necessary medical tests. We routinely screen patients for strep throat, mononucleosis and influenza and perform basic blood sugar, urinary and other laboratory testing as needed. Our practitioners will collect blood samples and send them out to outside laboratories for tests we do not perform in-house. For patients requiring x-ray imaging, East Neck conveniently performs in-house radiologic imaging using our digital x-ray system.
